Feminae Singulares

Some are known, others not, but portrait after portrait, Féminae Singulares tries to show the evolution of the place of women through the centuries.

Over time, the aspirations remain the same: gender equality, the right to security, to education, to freedom of expression, to intellectual, artistic and sporting recognition.

From Marie-Madeleine to Simone Veil via Hildegarde de Bingen or Georges Sand, a selection of inspiring women who have left a more or less proven but nonetheless essential mark.

"Anne Kuhn's photographs flirt with art and cinema; the staging is elaborated and its approach is always moving, emotional and intellectual."
