Insight into the past • 2014

A character alone embodies the members of a family in a house with a still vibrant past. Memories resurface: those that mark deeply, those that we transform and others that are more or less tolerate.

Insight into the Past is the gaze of a child suffering from loneliness and boredom, hardships having nevertheless contributed to an artistic process in the making.
This work on family memory has the particularity of being illustrated by short stories. Mixing the writing with the photos allows a double reading and why not, to find a part of oneself there.

The work of Anne Kuhn is an aesthetic speech about the conquest of all emancipation, which does not exclude the creative vein as the fruit of the difficulty.
