Growing up

I photographed my three daughters once a year during 20 years according to our ideas and our desires.

This work since my beginning reveals my evolution including my trial and error, even if, from the start, the chiaroscuro or the diagonal specific to baroque paintings are exploited there. Some ideas have been the starting point for in-depth research in my series.

"The artist photographed his three daughters, followed for years.

We do not often benefit from this hindsight.

It's a sort of barely encrypted instruction manual by Anne Kuhn which reveals its operation by leaving clues, small pebbles."

Jean-Daniel Beauvallet, extract of the book Love me tender.
